News and Events:

THE PAKISTAN NATIONAL QUALITY AWARD (PNQA) is the outcome of comprehensive research work and efforts by Professor Dr Nawar Khan. PNQA was launched in May 2005 by the Chairman HEC. It is still passing through the dynamic phase of establishment. NPO of ‘Ministry of Industry, Production and Special Initiatives’ is the ultimate custodian of this prestigious NQA along with other stakeholders and partners from private sector. Its first annual assessment and award ceremony is expected in year 2007.

MS in Engineering Management started since 6 November, 2006 as a full time evening class under coordination of QMC.

Book on TQM is being published by HEC for postgraduate level

Quality Management Cell (QMC) was established in 1999 to look after the project of ISO-9000 Certification. Academic Studies Group (ASG) of The College of E&ME is one of the few institutions   certified to ISO-9000. College of E&ME was re-certified to latest version of ISO-9001:2000 in  year 2003.

 

Aim

To present a resume of Quality Management Cell (QMC) of the Academic Studies Group of  College of E&ME highlighting its mission, objectives, organization, courses being conducted,   research & development and administrative aspects.

 

Mission

To assure the Quality Excellence in education and research and development in all its manifestations in all functions performed at the Academic Studies Group (ASG) of College of E&ME.
