Poster Format Guidelines:
1. Organizing Committee
of ICET 2008 will provide poster boards and adhesive tape/thumb pins to
mount your poster presentation.
2. Bring the posters in hard copy as well as in soft copy form.
3. The available poster boards are of size 4’ x 4’ (feet). You are free
to use this space in any way that suits your requirements.
4. You are advised to bring your own pointer (preferably laser) for
briefing to the participants.
5. Please include the following information in your poster:

Title of
presentation
·
Name of
author (s)
·
Affiliation
* Important Notes:
1. At least one author of each accepted paper needs to register
otherwise paper will not be included in the conference publication.
IMPORTANT: The papers of the authors who will not show up for the
paper presentation at the conference will be considered WITHDRAWN, and
hence will not be sent to the
IEEE for inclusion in IEEE
Explore.
2. Student rate attendees must have a valid full-time student ID or a
letter from their Department Head/Chair that states that the attendee is
a full time student.
3. Registration Fee will include the following:
·
access to all conference sessions
·
a copy of the conference proceedings
·
a CD containing the proceedings of the
conference
·
conference program booklet
·
miscellaneous conference material
·
refreshment breaks (coffee/tea, cookies,
etc.) for the days of the conference (4 of them in total)
·
lunch for the two days of the conference
·
conference dinner
·
tutorials
4. No Refunds will be made.
5. All authors must send the Copyright
Form (Due Date: September 20, 2008) by fax to +92-051-9278048 and
should also post it to the Conference Secretariat.

Presentation Formats:
Regular research papers will be a maximum of 6 IEEE style pages in
Camera-Ready form and will be published in the proceedings. These papers
will be presented in the conference Sessions. The Camera-Ready papers
must be received by September 20, 2008. Each presentation will be 20
minutes long with additional 5 minutes for questions and answers. The
information about the time and the date of your presentation will be
E-mailed to you as soon as it becomes available in early October. Each
paper/presentation will be included in a relevant technical session -
authors who will be presenting papers are expected to introduce
themselves to the chair of the session about 5 minutes before the session
starts (names of session chairs and conference room numbers will be emailed
to you in early October.

ONLINE REGISTRATION SYSTEM:
Please note that there is an online Conference Registration System
available at http://www.ceme.edu.pk/icet2008/. You must use the online
system to register for the conference. After completing the registration
process successfully, you will receive an email, enclose your Payment with other documents, copyright form and
send it to the conference secretariat at the address:
